About the role & what you’ll do

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer [Contractor] to join our engineering teams working on infrastructure, tooling, CI/CD and automation. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end ML/AI Search and Recommendation solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving systemic challenges, and loves building robust, scalable infrastructure. You’ll be a key player in ensuring smooth operations across our cloud environments and developer tooling.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain reliable infrastructure and automation.

• Develop and maintain our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Manage and evolve our cloud infrastructure on GCP & AWS with resources defined in Terraform.

• Work with Python services deployed in Docker containers on GCP & AWS (and Docker Compose locally). We are investigating the use of Kubernetes going forward.

• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) best practices across all environments.

• Solve systemic infrastructure challenges and develop platform-level features impacting the entire company.

• Support engineering teams with infrastructure-related questions and everyday tasks.

• Comfortable working as a contractor: independent, structured, predictable.
